FS2020 Reading and Commentary of Philosophical Texts II

Authors Studied: Hegel, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Dilthey, Husserl, Heidegger, Wittgenstein, Popper, Gadamer, Habermas, Rorty, Derrida.
The method of the seminar will be as follows: a) The teacher will give an anthology of texts which contains the most emblematic pages of the philosophers in question. b) Each student has to read the entire anthology; c) Each student will be given an author and will have to present in the first period a critical commentary of the text. d) In the second period there will be a group discussion. e) Each student should read up on the author he is presenting by using a good textbook or readings provided by the teacher.
